The Sims on PC

When the Sims first came out, it was a hit. Who wouldn’t want to control every aspect of someone’s life? You make characters, build their houses, find them jobs and then make a mess of their lives. It is surprising how entertaining it can be to do the exact same thing you’re doing everyday. Life.

Creating your characters is very detailed in the Sims series – you can change every part of your Sim’s face, their body weight, clothes, hair and their personalities. Once they are made, you can buy a pre-made house or make your very own. Making homes is half the fun of the game, since you can fit it to your Sim’s style. Take your time to pick out the perfect wall paper or build an elaborate masion. Once they have a home, you can go on the hunt for jobs ranging from mayor to science test subject. Expansions add more job options, as well as new clothes and hair.

The original game spawned the Sims 2, then the Sims 3. But the Sims 3 hardly changed anything from the second one. Now that the Sims 2 is cheaper, you might want to buy it instead of the third game. You can get a large chunk of the expansion packs for the same price as the Sims 3 and still control every part of their lives. The biggest changes from Sims 2 to Sims 3 were customizable clothing patterns and picking a good or evil attitude for your Sims.

Overall, the Sims series still provides hours and hours of entertainment no matter which game you pick.
